Welcome to the Hans Berger Haus! The Hans Berger Haus is located at 936 m and is the "rearmost" hut in the Kaisertal nature reserve. Hospitality is in the heart of the ladlord and cooking, preferably in large quantities, is a passion of the whole team. The always hungry climbers sing praises of the kitchen. A good bottle of wine in the evening and the experiences of the day come true once again. It's no wonder that some people go into raptures at the thought of the Hans-Berger-Haus. Rooms: 50 beds are available for our guests in rooms with 2, 3 and 4 beds (bunk beds) as well as in a 8-person mountaineering

For our guests we got a total number of 50 beds in 2, 3 and 4-bed rooms (bunk beds) as well as in an 8-bed mountaineer camp. Well-kept sanitary rooms with showers, toilets and washrooms on the floor are available. For one-night occupancy in the rooms and in general in the mountaineering camp, we ask guests to bring their own sleeping bag and towels. Half-board is recommended for overnight stays.

Take your basket and milk bottle to go shopping - the "Laderl" More
As regional as possible, with as little waste as possible: that is how Albert Schmieder wants his new business, lovingly named the "Laderl", to run. Cheese, milk and other products from the Hatzenstätt Alpine dairy (Niederndorferberg) are sold on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm. The boss asks that you bring your own milk bottles or cans, so that packaging is minimised as much as possible.
Important prehistoric site - the Tischofer Cave More
The Tischofer Cave is at the start of the Kaisertal (Sparchenklamm). Since the 17th century there have been regular findings of bones in the cave, which leads around 40 meters into the mountain. An excavation in 1906 found skeletons of humans as well as over 300 cave bears. It also found remains of foxes, hyenas, wolves and even reindeer. Tools made of bone and stone, ceramic fragments, bronze jewellery and casting moulds from the Bronze Age were also discovered. These discoveries prove early human habitation in the Neolithic (approx. 30,000 years BC) and Bronze Age. The Tischofer Cave is also a special power place listed in the book "Magisches Tirol" (magical Tyrol). (Note: a number of complete skeletons of cave bears can be viewed in the museum of local history at Kufstein Fortress.). The Tischofer Cave was also used as a meeting point and weapons cache by Tyrolean soldiers during the war of liberation from Napoleon's troops in 1809.
The Tyrolean Haflingers - Haflinger world and carriage museum More
The stud farm Ebbs, the oldest Haflinger stud in the world, is the most important Haflinger stud farm in the world, and centre of international Haflinger breeding. The stud farm Ebbs is a modern stud farm with approx. 100 Haflingers, and is located in idyllic Ebbs at the foot of the Zahmer Kaiser. 2 riding arenas, multiple stable buildings with approx. 100 boxes and pens for the colts, a stadium, the stud farm arena, with over 3,500 seats, as well as an administration and residential building, form the heart of the traditional stud farm. Approximately 4 hectares of paddocks, a training arena with dressage area, as well as a horse exerciser round off the stud, located next to Wagrain palace in Ebbs. The attached museum gives information about the Haflingers, their uses, the success of the stud farm and documentation of large events of the past.
