We are located in a secluded area at an altitude of 1,000 meters, surrounded by meadows and forests with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Here you can truly relax. Our guesthouse is an ideal starting point for hikes. Alternatively, combine nature with culture, staying in a dream location on the mountain and visiting the Tiroler Festspiele. Our dining rooms are styled in a cozy Tyrolean manner. The sheltered sun terrace with a fountain invites you to dream. From our garden, you can quietly watch the children playing on the playground.

Deep blue natural monument - the blue spring More
Hidden in the forest directly behind the "Blaue Quelle" Inn is a mysterious place. Around 700 litres of mineral water bubble out of the mountain every second, and fill a pond whose name comes from the clear, deep blue colour. It is rare that groundwater creates this type of pond hollow or funnel spring. The spring source is even visible on the surface. Algae grow on the sandy bottom. A rock at the end face, a meadow and bushes border the blue spring. The constantly eight degree water (drinking water quality) flows down into the Inn River. The blue spring was named as Tyrol's first natural monument in 1926. It is freely accessible.
Wagner and passion in the Tyrolean Mountains - the Festival Hall and Passion Play House More
The new Festival Hall, with its pointed spike, looks like a glistening deep black gemstone pendant next to the curved white Passion Play House. Its orchestra pit surpasses even that of the Vienna State Opera, and there is space for 862 visitors in the seating rows. The Passion Play House is also one of the most striking and interesting buildings in the region. It was built in 1959 according to the plans of architect Robert Schuler - originally only for the passion plays that take place every six years. For more than 400 years, the passion plays have been performed in Erl at regular intervals, and over 600 people from the Erl community impressively convey the life and death of Jesus Christ.
A sparkling natural wonder - the Trockenbach waterfall More
The walk to Trockenbach waterfall takes approx. 30 minutes. The small walk starts at the car park near the Passion Play House. From there you walk past a reservoir and then to the Trockenbach waterfall. The fall height is 50 m.
