Our fully equipped apartment provides 36 m² of living space as well as a 9 m² loggia with outdoor furniture. You will enjoy a high-quality kitchenette with Bosch appliances, a complete kitchen setup including tableware, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, pans, pots, cutlery, and a full set of glassware. In the living area, we offer a premium pull-out sofa, which can also be used as a comfortable sofa bed (160 x 200 cm). A Smart TV provides streaming options, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire apartment. The bedroom is modern in design and features a specially designed glass partition separating it from the living area. The apartment also includes a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a rainfall shower head. As a special extra, a washer-dryer combination unit is available for your personal use. Thanks to a modern locking system with a personal access code (NUKI smart lock), you can enter and leave the apartment easily and conveniently at any time.

Legends and stories from the past - night watchman tour More
With his cape, hat, lantern and halberd, the last traditionally-clothed night watchman of Kufstein, Harald Löffel, welcomes his guests. As dusk falls, he shows participants in the night watchman tour a different side of the fortress city. The darkness makes this seem a little gloomy from time to time, but in the light of his lantern the night watchman tells plenty of legends and stories from the distant past, and also from more recent times. "The original task of the nightwatchman was to protect the old houses and narrow alleyways from fire. When he did his rounds the house owners could relax and go to bed", says nightwatchman Harald at the start of his tour. Even though the nightwatchman protected the old town from disaster, he didn't have a good reputation amongst the people: "the nightwatchman was seen as a gloomy, eerie person, as he was in league with the darkness. Unfortunately, despite his good services he was not very popular. All information and dates can be found here.
Pastry day at 1,200 meters - Brentenjoch alm in the Kaiser Mountains nature experience More
Different viewpoints, impressive views - for people who look for and find nature. Arrive at the high plateau at 1,200 meters and head off, experience unforgettable moments, and let yourself be enchanted by the magic and strength of the Kaiser Mountains. A nature adventure away from everyday life, that lets you experience an ecological cycle of the elements. Selected locations are designated as power places, to increase awareness and consciousness of the natural setting of the Kaiser Mountains. The single seat cable car offers a comfortable mode of transport to the "Kaiser Mountain nature experience" - pure nostalgia! Every Saturday is pastry day at Brentenjoch alm. That's when farmer's wife Leni Kaindl cooks "Kiachl" in the little hut kitchen, and feeds hungry hikers arriving at the hut or passing by on The Eagle Walk. The pastries are usually served with lingonberry jelly or sauerkraut.

Experience history, from long ago to present day, and learn lots of interesting facts about Kufstein Fortress including its historical importance as a fortification. On your individual tour of Kufstein Fortress you can view 21 different stations, and explore the impressive open area with fortifications that are typical of a fortress, such as the Elisabeth battery with the cannons and the round fortress tower. As well as this, you can also look into the approximately 60 meter "deep well", and uncover the secret of the subterranean rock path. You can also explore the various museums in Kufstein Fortress, from the museum of local history to the former national prison in the Kaiser tower.
